Breakfast and depart for a game drive in the reserve. Picnic lunch boxes will be provided while in the wilderness. Return to the camp by evening. Dinner and overnight at SAROVA MARA GAME CAMP. L D B&B

Breakfast and drive to Nairobi for lunch at Pampa Restaurant. After lunch transfer to OLE SERENI HOTEL for check-in. Leisurely afternoon and overnight stay at the hotel. L B&B

Morning transfer to airport for flight to Madagascar. Arrival in Antananarivo (called “Tana” for short), the capital of Madagascar. Meet at the airport. You will be briefed for the whole tour by our representative, then proceed to for a 3 to 4 hours hike to Andasibe. On the way, we stop in Pyereras Reptiles Park to see farmed chameleons and other species of reptiles. On a walk inside the forest we can spot two species of lemurs: the sifaka “coquereli” and the brown “fulvus”. Arrival in Tana. Arrival in Andasibe settlement and night at VAKONA LODGE on B&B basis.

After breakfast visit the park, a huge tropical rain forest in the east. Nine species of lemurs can be spotted; the highlight is the “Indri Indri” which is the largest lemur on the island. This 810ha reserve is also home to a numerous and unique wildlife. It contains a wide variety of orchids, endemic animals like chameleonsand tenrecs hedgehogs, and many birds. After the hike, visit to Andasibe village, a typical Betsimisaraka (“The-Many-Inseparable”) village, where the second largest tribe lives; they cultivate rice and work on vanilla plantations. In the afternoon, we will visit the private park of Vakona in the “islands of lemurs”, which the best spot to take photo of lemurs. Night at the same hotel.

After breakfast we drive back to Tana, transfer to the airport for the flight to Diego. Arrival in Diego, transfer and night at MEVA PLAGE B&B.

After breakfast, 2-hour drive to Ankarana. You start your hike in the "Tsingy Ankarana", where the limestone highland has been worked by erosion: the harder base rock has been etched into channels and ridges known as tsingy. It offers us an extraordinary spectacle. The vegetation itself is as unusual as the tsingy themselves. The area consists of 18,225 ha covering a massif of Jurassic limestone rising abruptly from a surrounding savannas-like plain. Dominant canopy trees include dalbergia and casia, various figs, superb specimens of the baobab Adansonia madagascariensis and numerous palms. The Tsingy harbours a fascinating assemblage of drought-adapted succulent plants such as pachypodium decaryi , adenia neohumbertii and so on... There is abundant wildlife in the forested canyon. During your walk you'll meet brown lemurs, geckos and non-venomous snakes. Back to Diego after the visit, night at RELAIS DE L'ANKARANA B&B.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for to fly to Diego. Arrival in Diego, 1-hour drive to Joffre Ville where you start your 3 to 4-hour visit to Montagne d'Ambre National Park with a special guide. Situated in the high mountain of Ambre, with a huge tropical rainforest about 18,200 ha, this park covers a volcanic massif composed mainly of basaltic rocks. This park is rich with wildlife, home to many species of endemic fauna and flora. Reptiles are impressive (stump-tailed chameleon and snakes), insect life is particularly rich. Numerous rivers arise here and flow out in different directions, so the park is a vital water catchment area for the nearby town of Diego Suarez. There are several attractive crater lakes and some spectacular waterfalls. Much of the park is covered with upland tropical moist forest, with numerous giant trees, smaller ferns and several species of orchids. In the afternoon, 1-hour drive to “Tsingy Rouge”, a strange formation resulting from the erosion of a red sandy mountain. Overnight at NATURE LODGE B&B.

In the morning, transfer to the airport to fly back to Tana. Arrival in Tana, transfer to the airport for the flight to Mauritius.
