Africa welcomes you, dear friends!

After the border formalities you will meet with a representative of Alpha Zulu Africa for transfer to your hotel and for a leisurely afternoon. You will visit the Queen Victoria and Prince Alfred Waterfront, the tourist Mecca of Cape Town, where you will find a variety of cafes and restaurants, expensive shops and souvenir stalls, as well as folk singers and dancers performing on the street. Nearby you will see seals resting on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, with its beautiful blue waves. We recommend the evening car ride: your guide will invite you to dinner at a local restaurant where you will instantly feel that you have moved from Europe to Africa.

After a delicious and hearty breakfast you will meet your guide for excursions in and around Cape Town. Table Mountain, the symbol of the city, will be the starting point of your excursion. You will go up to the mountain in the cable car (payment is made on the spot, for whether it operates depends on the weather) and from the top you will have a bird’s eye view of this unforgettable city. After that you will visit the Cape Town Castle of Good Hope, which was the first stone structure on the peninsula, and from there you will see the Grand Parade, dominated by the Town Hall building. Continuing the journey, you will visit the Company’s Gardens built at the time of Jan van Riebeeck, founder of Cape Town. You can buy peanuts to feed the squirrels, who will eat from your hand. Next to the Gardens you will see St. George’s church, famous for having the largest stained-glass windows in the Southern hemisphere. Nearby are also the Houses of Parliament and the National Gallery of art. A tour of a jewelry factory will help you understand the process of cutting of precious stones, and you can touch diamonds of various sizes and learn useful information about jewelry. If you like, you can purchase jewelry at factory prices direct from the manufacturer. After a short rest you can have lunch (at your own expense) at one of the restaurants of Queen Victoria and Prince Alfred Waterfront. In 1860 Queen Victoria's second son Prince Alfred ordered the construction of a pier at Cape Harbor and this pier subsequently took his name. A few years later a second pier was built, which received the name of Queen Victoria. These piers have now been rebuilt and made into the beautiful promenade known as the Prince Alfred and Queen Victoria Waterfront. After lunch we recommend you take a helicopter flight over the waterfront, Table Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. This will give you a hefty dose of adrenaline and you will be able to end the rest of the day on the promenade or go back to the hotel with your guide.

Today you will relive the days of the discoverers and of the colonial conquests and you will spend the day on Cape of Good Hope, which you have heard about in school. In 1488 Portuguese navigator Bartolomeu Dias landed on the Cape and called it the Cape of Storms, because he had survived a terrible storm that nearly cost him and his crew their lives. Portuguese King João II, having great expectations for a new Eastern sea route, renamed it the Cape of Good Hope. Here tourists often look forward to seeing large families of baboons. These animals are very cute, but be careful not to feed them, for you might get hurt when they fight for their food. After passing the entrance gate your bus will follow a level road and then drive down to the famous promontory. Here you can make a souvenir photo against a panel that has the coordinates of the Cape of Good Hope. Then you can climb to the highest point of the Cape Peninsula, where you will enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the ocean and the bay. We now say goodbye to the Cape and we are on our way back. The road runs along the coast of False Bay and goes through the small town of Simon’s Town, near which is the largest South African naval base and Boulders Beach are situated. On that beach you will meet the famous Cape penguins. These wonderful animals chose this beach once long ago for hatching their offspring and they live there year-round, delighting local and foreign tourists. You will stop for lunch (at your own expense) at a restaurant well known for its seafood recipes. Return to the hotel around 17h00-18h00

Tour of the "wine route" You have surely heard about South African wines, which are produced according to old French recipes. You will be given an opportunity to visit several farms and to familiarize yourselves with the technology and the history of wine. Then you can taste a variety of wines. On one of the farms you can enjoy wonderful local cheeses that harmonize with the wine, on another you can sample brandies aged from 5 to 10 years, and on a third farm you will taste wine with chocolate, thus getting familiar with the beautiful diversity of South African wines. Back to the hotel at 17h00 -18h00

Immediately after breakfast, you will meet with your guide and ride in a comfortable car for a two-hour journey in the safari park. Check your cameras! They must not fail you. Upon arrival you will be picked up in a special safari jeep, equipped for observing animals. An experienced ranger will help you look for the animals and come as close to them as possible. From this moment begins an unforgettable hunt of exotic animals, including most African Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, buffalo). Only instead of a shotgun you will use your photo equipment. After the safari you will return to the lodge, where you will find a beautifully laid table. The delicious buffet dishes will not leave you indifferent. After dinner you can relax by the pool. Return to the hotel to 5:00 pm.

This day will be filled with new experiences; you will travel along the western coast of the Atlantic. The first stop is on the beach in the Blouberg area, which offers stunning views of Cape Town and Table Mountain. From this spot were taken many of the famous photographs used on postcards and in most guidebooks. After that you will drive to an ostrich farm, where you will get acquainted with the history and technology of breeding ostriches. You can even sit on the back of the bird and take interesting pictures. You can also observe the processing of feathers and visit stalls selling products made of ostrich leather and feathers. You can also buy enormous ostrich eggs, which are equivalent in volume to 24 chicken eggs. On this farm you will be offered a delicious dinner prepared with ostrich meat, which is considered very healthy, as it has a low cholesterol and high protein content. Return to the hotel by 5:00 pm.

Transfer to the airport for flight home or to the next point of your journey.
